Certainty has but one eye,
That shines thru the blue of sky.
It casts away all hint of doubt,
Wipes from the face any lingering pout.
Intense, sharp, with the force of an eagle,
It sits in the mind on a throne regal.
Mine I and the eye are but one,
Focused on the certain, of doubt none.
The scent of blooming lilacs in the air,
Evoke certainties with none to spare.
The rising sun induces sheet delight,
The eye of certainty sees it with insight.
Mine eye and the Eye are but one.
Focused on ancient mysteries spun.
The face of the half moon, ruined, ragged,
Roaming the night sky like a savage.
The eye of the owl sees in the dark,
When it hoots, it is sounding “Hark”.
Mine eye and the Divine Eye are but one,
Vision of the Divine we must never shun.
The waves always cresting in white foam,
Over vast seas, our seeking hearts roam.
The eye of mystery shines light on darkness,
Revealing truths to raise our awareness.
And then there is the Supreme Face of God,
Wherever you look, you can find it there.
In blue bells, in ferns, in moonshine, in a ladybug,
Even in the embrace of a simple affectionate hug.
Lost in the magical world of mystic wonder
The eye of certainty casts all falsehood asunder.
THE EYE OF CERTAINTY IS THE EYE THAT, BY FAITH, STAYS FOCUS ON THE ONE AND ONLY WISE AND TRUE GOD. AMEN. THANKS FOR SHARING, MY FRIEND. LOVE, BLESSINGS AND FAITH...JOYCE * HIS INSPIRATIONS
Mine eyes became a bit unfocused while riding the waves of
certainty in your poem. But the eye of mystery solved my
myopia for me: This is a whodunnit! I think.

While the rotation of the earth and the predictability of the rotation of the moon around the earth seems quite certain, they are always subject to change, if only in a minuscule way that has been corrected once in a while over the eons. As far as our minds and imaginations go, nothing is certain and that is frightening to many people who rely on symbols and simplifications that go down as far as prayers and chants that are repeated over and over to give one a sense of peace, serenity, and certainty.
I feel it much better to try to spot uncertainties well before they happen and adapt to them before they happen. For it is only adaptation that has allowed us to thrive on this earth for so long.
Our awareness maybe changed but nothing in the end does ever change, man will destroy this world of his, eventually, how far away from that truth are we at this time...? -e-
