This poem is very simple, but it is unique in that it expands the senses of the five senses into the inner imaginary area. Believers always experience that they must close their eyes to open their spiritual eyes.
O how many facets a human personality has!... and all of them are linked together in the central hub by the name 'My Mind' -- the source of all our 'miraculous wonders.' A beautiful song of a strolling musician. Cheers, alex
I find myself looking at this fanciful poetry merely by the science that I know about the subject. Our brains are tuned by survival down through the ions long before written language came into existence. All of the senses were developed to keep us from harm and allow us to find food. The brain allows us to integrat senses in a powerful way that enhances even more, our survival.
Our brain also stores the information, especially when we are successful in our life journey or we make a mistake and it is imprinted in our memory. This inner eye, or intuition, is usually the result of experience, allowing us to think of things and solutions to life's problems before they even occur. Why you and I can write poetry without seemingly having experienced it.

PS. In the third line, you deviated and wrote "your," instead of "our."
