Time Never Still By John Herlihy Time has its own will And never stands still Forever on the move Deep within its groove Like a record in motion Lasting in its devotion Time waits for no one Of time to spare, none No moment to deserve No moment to preserve Time rides a fickle arrow So flighty, like a sparrow Time never stays behind Just follows its daily grind In full circle on the return To wait, to happen, to burn - - - - - - (c) John Herlihy 4 October 2018

Time is fluid, sometimes when you are facing something bad it slows down and seems to just seep along - while the good times fly by. I like this a lot,

"Time rides a fickle arrow
So flighty, like a sparrow
Time never stays behind"
