There, once upon another time,

Another life that could be mine.

For now, I have my life to bear,

In nobility, with nothing to spare.

My fate I accumulate day by day,

My actions something of me may say.

I know not whither I will go next,

Another road, another journey, no pretext.

My doubts dissolve in the waters of time,

That flow ever forward, this life still mine.

My landscape now uncharted, no sign, no map,

The way forward traced on vellum unmapped.

Tomorrow promises to be another day to shine,

There, in another place, once upon another time.
