Let it be known that my silence contains no lies;

Whereas the true intention of lies is what I despise.

In betraying the truth, the lie takes on truth’s aura;

True lies become the norm with a magnetic aurora.

Some people’s lies give injustice to what they speak;

Their words have no worth; they pretend to be meek.

Other people lie as easy way to gain another’s favor,

Sugar-coated, all smiley and sunny, in its false flavor.

What of those who end up being stingy with the truth;

They have lost sight of its value; they think it uncouth.

The art of communication hides behind a false front;

A liar pretends to be sincere, even claims to be blunt.

Let me say the truth and make this clear for all to see;

What I claim I like or dislike drawn from just plain me.

The true intentions of lies destroys any sense of trust;

The truth lies within; we speak truth because we must.
