-- A Patience Beautiful -- John Herlihy Be not patient, With a patience dutiful. Rather be patient, With a patience beautiful. Patience can be heavy, As heavy as bad weather. But patience can be light, As light as a feather. In waiting patiently For whatever will come, We wait beautifully And never on the run. Beware patience unbecoming, Raw desire in a rush. I perceive spiritual subtext in this. Speaking for myself: It's always challenging to wait for the mud to settle and the water to clear, especially if your life is rife with storms. Patience, I've learned, can be a conquering virtue. Thanks for sharing. Enjoyed. rlc
