There are causal relations of all events in this dimension that are said to be registered in the Akashic Records. Perhaps as long as we remain contained in inflicted cyclical processes that (try to) prevent infinite progress. But knowledge in this realm is a perceptual enterprise (David Bohm), so there may be unknown reasons that cause what seems to exist.

Why I am so concerned about religion. It seems those who are most indoctrinated to religions like Christianity or Islam are the most conservative and willing to commit vile acts to try to preserve their, often oppressive beliefs like the inferiority of women and others, rather than a more open and inclusive society.
But I'm also very optimistic that the Internet, scientific inquiry, and the nature of young people to be more accepting and curious about differences, to lead us into a world where hatred and war will eventually fade into the way humans behaved under strict religious rules before we grew up and started taking responsibility for our actions alone.
It is the responsibility of each of us to create the world we wish to see...
