The beautiful phrase does bear mention,

Suddenly it occurs, revealing an intention.

A brief moment with the world on pause,

We may not even know its ultimate cause.

There it simply lies, in the heart of the eye,

As pure joy shines forth, even in those shy.

The eye reveals many things, this is spacious,

The heart overflowing with feelings gracious.

A thought brings a moment of incandescence,

The twinkle a signature of heightened presence.

Some charm strikes us or the humor of a thing,

The stars only mimic what they eye might bring.

Like a rainbow or a desert mirage or a unicorn,

In the twinkle of an eye, pure mystery is born.
