Why not cut loose when it is difficult to hold on;

Why do we hold on when it is easier to cut loose?

When a certain hand is dealt in life, some will fold;

When the same hand dealt in life, others never fold.

Why not live in a world as if living on the edge?

On the edge offers better perspective of the world.

Live in the moment so that the moment can live;

Live not in the moment, the moment can nothing give.

We often we live in the world as if we live forever;

No one lives forever, not even the world lives forever.

We think all the time as if we everything knew;

We dream all the time as if the dreams will come true .

Why do we believe in a reality with only the senses;

The emotions speak of a reality beyond distant fences.

Why not believe in a reality that is virtually unseen;

Instead of believing in a reality only the senses glean.

Why shouldn’t we worship God as if we saw Him;

For even if we do not see Him, still He sees us

Let the moment be as free as a bird, give it wings;

Or the moment as a river that fluid freshness brings.

Why do we believe in dreams instead of a true reality?

Better faith in true reality than dreams of a false reality.

Random thoughts may not be separate from the whole;

Interconnected we are, thru body, mind, heart and soul.

Why do we question the soul as if it doesn’t have any merit?

Why not understand soul as a drop in the ocean of Spirit.
