MIRROR POEMS -- We Admire Beauty -- John Herlihy We admire beauty We fulfill our duty We pray in solemnity We praise majesty We unveil mystery We abhor poverty We seek prosperity We thrive in honesty We stand on integrity We rely on sincerity We pursue plenty We uphold dignity We get lost in mystery We get found in certainty -- Blessed in Beatitude -- John Herlihy We shun servitude We live in rectitude We rest in quietude We thrive in plenitude We strive for certitude We blessed in beatitude We strengthen in fortitude We feel serene in solitude We stand by promptitude We calculate in exactitude We keep clear of turpitude We never speak platitude We can get lost in attitude We get found in gratitude - - - - - - (c) John Herlihy 29 June 2020

I don't see the mirror in these two poems. If the first poem highlights beauty the mirror should highlight ugly. Like the mirror lyric by Bobby McFerrin opposite all love songs when he advises, "Get an uglyy woman to marry you!"

Achieving happiness, rather than the mirror, unhappiness.
