To walk sure into the day before the sun has risen

To slip quietly into the night before the sun has set

To live in the distant future as a potential moment

To live in the present as the only genuine moment

To live in the past as a moment now lost to memory

To live in the autumn as if it were the heart of spring

To live in cold winter in the hope of summer warmth

To be a flying fish freed from blue waters into blue sky

To lose our confidence in the face of our insecurities

To harbor no certainties in the light of life’s mysteries

To go deep into realms where no one has gone before

To avoid all those places too many have gone before

To value reasoning of mind and emotions of the heart

To trust in our intuitions when making any decisions

To be lifted by ocean waves then lie spent on the shore

To be held aloft on the wings of birds braving the wind

To bask in the light of anonymity in the thick of a crowd

To show up with the dust and take leave with the wind

To imagine wonders of the world without imposing limits

To accept them as they are, mysteries with no gimmicks.
