Year’s end but a beginning,

Let us not forever pretend.

Loss as a sense of winning,

At midnight chimes the end.

The secret lies in the circle,

Goes around, comes around.

Each second reveals a miracle,

Finding the mystery profound.

To each one of you and to all,

A happy and blessed new year.

The stars rise aloft and then fall,

In every smile lies a hidden tear.

All tired together in life’s rope,

All bound in the circle of hope.
