-- Begin Every Day -- by John Herlihy Begin every day as the first day born Finish every day as the last day shorn Own the day as if to you a day belongs Minutes of the day for the future longs Let no day be invaded by any anxiety Let the day’s hours be full of mystery No day to bear any moments of fear All days to gather as best of the year Rest assured when the day be done Only your song be the one song sung If doubt or uncertainty still creeps in Banish all with the certainty of a whim Each day measured by the fixed hour Tomorrow will bloom its own flower - - - - - - Copyright © John Herlihy Saturday 13 April 2024

THIS IS SUCH GOOD ADVISE JOHN, IF WE ALL COULD JUST DO THIS IT WOULD BE FANTASTIC. BUT YOU KNOW HOW WE ARE...WE GET IN OUR OWN WAY. HOWEVER, WITH GOD WE CAN DO ALL THINGS, SO, I SUGGEST... Ye, "Be Here Now" rings true in this portrait of sorts of why addressing each day as a gift, and along with that, a responsibility to conduct oneself with dignity and integrity. Well done.
