No Doubt Greater

No doubt greater,
Than the doubt of one’s faith.
No loss greater,
Than the loss of one’s faith.
No strength stronger,
Than the strength of one’s faith.
No belief more believable,
Than the belief in one’s faith.
No trust greater,
Than the trust in one’s faith.
No confidence more confident,
Than the confidence in one’s faith.
Nothing more visible,
Than the visibility of one’s faith.
No doubt darker,
Than the darkness of one’s faith.
No light greater,
Than the light of one’s faith.
Faith is the basis of things hoped for,
The evidence of things not seen.
(Hebrews 11:1)

When we place our faith in something, we trust it, and believe that it will be as it's supposed to be. But those who place their faith in a higher, directing entity, are probably the most deceived…just puppets to it.
I placed my faith in trusting that most of my fellow travelers will be kind and good to me. I trust in scientific principles, proven over time to be true. I do not trust ignorant rejection of these scientific truths in favor of short term personal gain.
