My english teacher said "i'd like you to write some poetry
its really not that difficult as I'm sure that you will see
a poem does not have to ryhme
or even take you a lot of time

Write on a topic that you know well
and to your readers your feelings tell
write on what your heart is telling you
from this you should always take your cue

A poem is writing feelings as words
using pretty language "the song of birds"
so why don't you try and give it a go
you might be surprised at the talent you show
