Of course my other Brother Ed

Always loved our days at the sea

I always had to do all the hard work

And he always barked out orders at me

“Hurry Up, with that sand castle!

I’m gettin mighty hungry over here!

Brother Ed, go get me another hot dog,

And one more really ice cold root beer!”

“And I hate to tell ya, Little Bro,

But that castle is a little crooked.

You’re gonna have to fix it, Bro,

Can’t you get anything right, Ed?!”

And his bullying orders went on

All summer long at that Jersey shore

No wonder I soon ran away from home

I just couldn’t take his bullying any more

And yes, for those of you who are now wondering

Even as a child he always had a beard on his big head

These are just a few of the many memories of my childhood

Spent on that old New Jersey shore - with my other brother Ed
