I love the Holidays at our house
Because our pets make me laugh
They remind me of my childhood
They provide memories that will last

They get so excited, when they receive a gift
They race all around the house, showing it off
They attempt to steal gifts, given to another pet
They look very perturbed, when a new toy is lost

They smile as they gobble down another Holiday treat
They chase each other, all around the Christmas Tree
They make us laugh so very hard, at their many antics
They bring so much love and joy, to my spouse and me

The both of us also love their truly adorable expressions
When we jokingly dress them up in funny Holiday dress
Our canines get a look of utter amusement on their faces
Our felines give us looks of pure disgust, that are the best

I consider myself very fortunate, coming from a pet loving family
And for all of my life, pets have been by my side, at the Holidays
I can't imagine living my life, without some pets, being a part of it
They make me laugh, give me joy, enrich my life in so many ways
