Deceptive Heart

Dark smiles

Convey your wiles,

As in a fevers pitch you burn.

Chastising many who are unlike thee

and defiling those who attempt of you to spurn.

For your words spew forth from a deceitful heart,

sugarcoating your deadly venom from the very start.

Many have you in your traitor's life

so shamefully deceived.

For never once did a tender thought

 your wicked mind achieve.

So tread with care my true friends

And truly most truly beware,

For when you take company with the devils wind,

You shall discover a darkness too black to bare.

 Alas though,

your shame has no name,

for you with your haughty flair

Will meet up with destiny,

And he will not care.

For in the blackness of night,

Deceptive hearts all look the same.

Seems the theme for the beginning of December is something to do with satan and the devil, as I can live with that having a personal knowledge therein...you always can just blow me away with your writes, AL...Peace, Ed & Rufuz

Society stays so turned around anymore that we are our own worst enemy..
I'm not sure we could sort out the difference if it was labeled.
Excellent write Allen!
