Poem Artwork

It’s Raining At Last….

Naked Limbs

Macabre darkness reaches.

Naked limbs mangle dreams.

Cold black winds nimbly steal.

The silence languishes beneath.

Liquid pleasure now fills the earth.

Once dead, it now thrives in rebirth.

A screeching owl on my windowsill

Macabre is the darkness reaching.

A chilling rain clings to my mangled dreams.

A chilling rain is always a mental memory full of the negatives in our lives. heck! I like standing inside all cuddled up to a fire and languishing in the tic tic tic as the ice hits the window panes. When I was a child my grandmother told me it was fairies. I still believe in the awe of my child.
Thanks J. Allen,
Love and blessings to you and Leah!

Nice write. It is pouring here as I read this. We are lucky so far. Just a few miles north of us is snow and wow what a storm it's been.
God Bless,
Lew

Whether (weather?;) a chilling rain or a rain that chills to the bone, like we will get tomorrow, as long as it is moisture that is much needed in your area...enjoy...(no swimming in the pool with naked limbs, that is a vision I wish not to have to think about...) Ed
