The Blind Man & His Friend

Come see said the blind man; come see what God has done.

Listen too said the deaf man; come hear the angels sing.

I see or hear nothing said the pilgrim but that of you two old fools.

For the land is as it always was and even the wind dared not to blow.

Pity said the blind man for it is of faith that these things are seen.

Yes, oh yes such a pity said the deaf man, for it is by faith I hear the angels sing.

Then teach me too said the pilgrim that I may too hear and see.

For I am a stranger in this land; I am just passing through.

I see and hear only in the natural and I long to have the faith you do.

Just believe said the blind man; just receive the deaf man said too.

For this is only the beginning of a brave new world for you.
