I feel like I am loosing it tonight…as Leah slides further and further away. I don’t know what else to do….I just don’t know what else to say.

Friday, August 8, 2008

I walked outside tonight on small my break

from my job.
I walked quietly in the warm silence; I got alone with God.
I told Him how much I needed you; I told Him every reason why.
I thought so much about being with you; I saw you in my mind.

We should be down by the sea right now walking hand in hand.
We should be laughing; cutting up; drawing I love you's in the sand.
I could smell the August fields tonight when I took my stroll outside.
I thought of how much we enjoyed this on all those August night rides.

I guess there is truly no way to tell you baby how much you mean to me.

It’s just that I miss you so much and long in my soul to meet your every need.

If I could part the waters; if I could fill the sea; if I could…If I could

I would without doubt from this sentence set you free.

My break time is up and now I must go back alone inside.

God help me save my baby before I truly lose my mind.

Haven’t I told you Lord; haven’t I called out my every need?

I want of nothing Lord for myself or I.

Just say the word oh Lord and heal my ailing wife.

I walk back to my office now wiping the tears from my eyes.

I sit down in front of my computer; I push the tools to the side.

I bring up Photoshop and click through the files and pray.

I see her everywhere Lord… I see her on my screen.

Here she is painting in the wood.

Here she is building sand castles of our dreams.

Ah another picture with the two of us standing on the pier at Tybee.

And another when we chased each other in the surf by the sea.

Oh God…oh God come now and meet the sum of my need.

Reverently oh Lord….Allen

Allen, My heart goes out to you along with some healing energy for your tired soul. Prayers are sent to you from all over the den, and we are here for you, dear friend, know this and find some comfort in the fact that you are not alone...
Please try to release some of this anger and helplessness, and be with her as much as you can during this phase of her illness. You must protect your soul, and remember she will be with you always in that protection of your soul.
May peace, love, and light guide you,
Amber "V"

((((Allen))))

(((HUGS))) love and prayers, Karla.

Lord, I come to you in agreement with Allen to heal his Leah, Your will be done. She is suffering, Lord, physically; Allen is suffering along with her, mental anguish. Give them peace; give them strength; give them rest. It's in Jesus' Name I pray - because You said in Your Word that where two or three are gathered in your name, You are in the midst of them. Amen and Amen.

I know you are going through a trying time right now. Watching someone that is very ill isn't a pleasant thing. Being away from them isn't fun either and being with them is the thing you need to do right now. She needs you by her side whenever you can be there.
I know how you feel, like it is useless, but don't give up. You prayed to God and he will help you and Leah too. Enough prayers are still being said for you both to give you courage and strength. I know the memories come and never will fade away. Enjoy every moment you have with her.
