Just A Little Talk With Jesus

Oh Jesus, dear and precious Jesus, I crumble beneath the weight.

They have all told me that her passing would get easier with time.

Yet Lord, I feel not this ease, yet burdened even more as the solitary silence steals my mind.

So Jesus, I am asking of you; please deliver this sadness from me.

Touch me in both mind and spirit and forevermore set me free.

Lord, the cold and penetrating darkness encroaches on me more each day.

It is no matter what I do or what I choose, her absence takes my breath away.

So now Jesus I stand before you a broken and frightened little man.

My world has collapsed and impaled itself in the shadows of another land.

I know not what is left to do; I really try to get on and into the light.

Yet I remain trapped in this sorrow and I am being sucked down into the night.

So help me Jesus, help me and show me the way.

For I fold beneath the press of my sadness this day.

Help me Jesus…Help me I pray.

I must admit I can only imagine your pain. I can pray for you. You will see her again.
God Bless,

Today Oct 24 my birthday is hard to even get through without Tom. I read a note he wrote to his Mother and that helped to see his own handwriting from long ago. I feel him with me today though, A reading I read today is you cannot hold 3 things in your hand very long, a butterfly, flowing water, and love. I like that thought and love butterflies and do have Tom's love with me still. It will never fade away. Hopefully you will realize Leah is still with you in her lovely way too. I do know you do. Such a lovely photo again.

He hears, I promise you, though sometimes it's just too hard to receive His answer when we're consumed with pain. He won't give up, though, no matter how long it takes. He loves you too much. Rebecca

Allen,
I have been reading about your loss and your pain. My heart breaks for you. I know you want your pain to be gone now, but Allen, you expect too much too soon. You have a deep love for God and ask His Son to help you now. Allen, as hard as this may be, you must realize that the release of this wrenching pain you feel will be in His time, not yours. You must work through your hurts as all of us who have lost must do. Continue your writings as they are a healing agent. You should consider putting them all in a book titled...Leah. Your painful pens will be a source of help for others who suffer as you do. Perhaps that is why the release you seek has not yet arrived. There are so many out there who need your help and will not make it as they are also being sucked down into the night. In helping them, your release will come. He is helping you by ways of your writing talents......Accept the help that He sends your way.
MANY WARM HUGS

You may not realize it...but He is working within you... and like I've said before...it won't always feel better...that pain just seems to slip into our innards and it clings tight...so don't worry about shaking it off... One thing that helped me (accidently) was that I joined an online dating site...(actually, my secretaries built a website for me without my knowledge)...and at first I was furious...humiliated and ashamed...filled with guilt...but then I noticed that most who wrote me were "widowers" who were struggling with their own losses....and one by one, we became friends...we just shared...and chatted online...and it was amazing how nice and comforting that became... It wasn't about dating...it was too soon...(my hubby had been gone about 8 mo's)...but I wish I had begun online sooner... I met several nice men...(without romance) and we went to walking parks...had coffee...shared iced tea....and just sat at Starbucks or some coffee shop... In time, we went to a movie...usually a lighthearted one... and... had lunch or breakfast...and it was the most rewarding time for me...and I sure hope for them too! Their grown children (nor mine) understood the pain of our loss...the missing of their touch...(we are too old the kids think!) and they didn't know how much it hurt to be so alone for all those weekends, or special occasions... Like I said...it was a time for healing not for dating.... and that's how it went for 2 yrs... and I worked so much...anything to keep busy... and then...one day...a nice man took me to a little town to see the mountains...a freshwater spring... he held my hand, and I immediately pushed it away...then I realized that It felt nice...and I missed that alot... and even tho I still cried alot Allen...and the missing was so deep and cut like a sharp knife... I began to move forward.... and I'm still working on it... so... I wish you love and warmth and peace.... :-)) There are alot of wonderful people out there who are walking in your shoes... and you just may be the answer ... or in God's plans.... hugs, lindalaw

You should write new prayers for a living as this one sounds like a new prayer...I sometimes wish, though I know better, that I could have a relationship with Jesus & such as good as yours...maybe its age making me have this feeling, maybe its just that I am getting tired searching or being different...enjoyed this one Al...Take care, Ed & rufuz

God will allow you to see the reason for this season in your life. God bless you for the many people you are helping with your legacy. His death, blood, dying and your healing is testament to Him.

He hears your desperate groanings of the heart; He will never leave or abandon you. Just remember that, and continue to lean on Him as you continue to grieve Leah's passing. God be with you; you are still in my thoughts and prayers!

Heartrending piece, Allen; powerfully penned! BRAVO!

(((HUGS))) and much love, your friend in Tx., Karen Lynn. :( >tears! <
