Seeking Tomorrow

I sought compassion,

I received His grace.

I sought love.

And I saw your face.

Nevermore should this heart fear.

For beauty befalls me

when ever you are near.

I see your eyes when I take to sleep.

I hear your laughter

and your smile warms my soul so sweet.

So I take heart and know

some days are built of today's dreams

and the morrow shall give proof

and in this both he and she will grow.
