Poem Artwork

A New Day

He walked across the sandy soil of his new home and stared longingly to the east.

The warm winters sun felt good on his face, and once for a long time he felt peace.

He walked over to the large double swing that hung between two large trees of grace.

And he smiled in his thought when he reminisced about dreams and her summer place.

He closed his eyes and slept…knowing that all things have a purpose in life.

Enjoyable reading, a new home at sandy so8il, where she would of loved to live also. I am babysitting my daughter's dog at her home and it is nice to be able to be in a home instead of an apt for a week's time. More homey like.

HE CAN'T YET FULLY UNDERSTAND WHY, BUT HE KNOWS THAT WHAT ONCE WAS WILL NEVER BE AGAIN AND THOUGH HE WISHES IT WAS, HE CAN NOW ACCEPT THINGS AS THEY ARE, FOR HE KNOWS HE HAS BEEN GIVEN THE GRACE TO DO SO...AND HE IS AT PEACE... LOOKING FORWARD TO A NEW DAY. THANKS FOR SHARING THIS WELL WRITTEN WORK AND BLESSINGS.
