For those who do not yet know…Ed is seriously ill and in the hospital in ICU. At this point it does not look good, but the prayers of many often change the way that Some things seem to be…therefore if you pray…then join me in praying for ED.

Prayers For Ed Matlack

He has always made me laugh and smile through the years.

His off beat humor often leaves us in the “Den” laughing through tears.

He has been there for me when time was both good and bad.

He always, and never failed to crack a joke and make me laugh.

I count him as a friend; he is almost like the brother I never had.

Yet today the news about Ed has left me forlorn and very sad.

Therefore tonight I will reverently and sincerely pray.

I will pray that his recovery be swift and that you all will join with me this day.

Just wanted to stop by and add my thanks for your kind thoughts and desire to harness all our myriad love and energies for Ed, Allen. So relieved to hear now that news is good, but much still remains for us to prayerfully assist with, I'm sure! Bless you for this. Allen,
Thanks so much for putting this in. Ive only just caught up with all the news today, though we are a day ahead. Heavy hearted, yet knowing that God will and has already worked wonders with Ed. Let us keep our prayer Vigil up, amd be hopeful. It's sad that he wasnt able to afford a visit to the doc's, so often the case in this world and its not right!!
Thanks again J, and we all are praying for our dear Brother in Christ to recover, though we know it will be slow going..God works mighty miracles.

So sorry to hear. I sensed something serious in his recent posts. I missed his always very quick response to my poems, just last week, often wondering, "..What are you smoking?"

Ed is tough, and don't be surprised to see him back son. In the meantime, I hope that his beloved Rufus is being well taken care of.

Allen,
Thank you for letting us know. He finally gets Rufus back and then gets sick. I will pray for both Ed and his wife Rene. I'm sure she' too is going through alot with Ed in ICU. Keep us posted, Allen.

Lately, I've been mad at God - personal issues. If God answers one prayer of mine, let Him heal Ed and bring him to the saving Grace of the One who can bring him through - in Jesus' Name, amen. I told him last week (think it was) to go get checked by a doctor, he said he couldn't afford it - sad. :( My prayers definately for Ed, and for you. Always.

Well said...and know that many prayers are being said, many times, for Ed. Mostly, let's be optimistic...it sends good vibes to Ed in the hospital...I believe that.
