The Paths Of Life

I remember as I walk down the paths of youth filled with flowers and glistening grain.

I recall as the years go by what I see and experience; I feel the solitude, I feel the pain.

I see as time moves on and the path of life draws ever narrow; sometimes filled with flowers, sometimes desolate and barren.

In happy days I have stopped to smell the sweetness of God’s Glory along the way.

Yet when the deserts of life drain my soul, I beseech the very heavens and pray.

I have smelled the death of this desert world with it parched and dried bones.

Yet I see even further ahead the light of glory as I make my way along the path of life to my true home.

Arrows of darkness drawn from the pits of hell assail me and those I love each and every day.

Yet I resist…I fight, I look to the Lord God and often in truth I doubt but still pray.

So many times I have felt the tender sweet grass between my fingers as I walk this path of life.

Yet also, I have felt the sands of life torn by the years sift like silent memories through my hand.

Yet forward I walk as the path grows even narrower; I still see roses and pretty things.

However I see the past ahead of my future in secret and often silent dreams.

Someday I will reach this path of life’s end, and I will recall all the bad and the good now and then.

I will see what this journey has meant and see the true meaning as my patch eventually ends.

Yet until that time I will still smell the flowers along life’s way…I will endure the heat of darkness…I will always unto my God pray.

Hell has its fury, turmoil has its day, but in the end it is the Lord God My Savior that will have HIS way.

God bless you all on AD…I love you

Unpardon me but I relent it boldly;
For it is far ahead, if I can be sure of it,
And far it is, that my hallucination be valid,
And hallucination it is, as it should be,
And however, unlike itself, mysterious, unknown, and untested,
So it be foreseen in my tireless search.

We each have our path, filled with sadness and gladness. Focus on the blessings because there are many.

Al, u always write of your beliefs and u know I respect you for same, but this one seems so sad, so almost un-believing of His beauty and eternal life...Maybe its just me, but that is what I read into this one...thanks for the call yesterday but I was out cleaning my yard of the downed tree...Find Peace, E

My prayers are with you. The Lord has His plans and it's a mystery to all of faith. We are His children and He has promised to tend to His sheep for eternity and that's a long, long time. Amen

Peace, love and blessings,
