Lady
Silent hunter
Quietly awaiting
Approaching Warm blooded bodys
She bites
Mother
True to nature
She feeds her hungry brood
With blood from warm bodied mammal
Victims
Adult
A mosquitoe
Attacks piercing her prey
Attacks and bites and sucks blood from
The man
The man
Complying to
His own natural feelings
Repels her bite with angry swats
To kill
The brood
Of the now dead
Mosquitoe dies unfed
Her mission failed her children die
unborn

How dare you make me weep for a mosquito?! How could you?! The compassion.. the sensitivity.. ARGH! Sigh.. proving, once again, in the hands of a true poet, anything can move us. A wonderful written poem, Lonnie. katy (don't let me say your name wrong.. let me know.. grin).
In my next life I want to be a Mosquito...I wiil just go for male blood all the time.....hehehe...prick the hell out of themmmmm.....payback time...LOL!!!

Well, glad to hear the dem thing is dead. Really good verses. Bravo.
Jack London’s cousin writes a heartwarming, young adult story about the glory of life. It is also a heart-pounding adventure to a new and strange world.
The Commander and the Chief take on the rogue Deep State: the Gunfight at the UK Corral, missing Redcoats in the Nevada Triangle, and nuclear blackmail!
(Mind you the man still gets my vote - I might have been victim number two! :-) )

DJ.
