Ted, I couldn't let that challenge go un-answered, now, could I?

FIRST DATE (Answer To Ted Sherman’s Challenge)

My God, Sweetheart, you looked so great
When we kissed last night at garden’s gate.
Your face so sweet, how my heart sank,
The way we danced, The wine we drank.
I knew at once it was my fate,
That you’d become my life’s soul mate.
And when upon this dawn we rose,
The wine worn off, devoid of clothes,
I got my second look at thee.
My God, I’m glad that I’m still free!

Katy: Perhaps I should join MSA (Male shallowness Anonymus). Can't you just picture me standing up announcing, "Hello. My name is Londis Carpenter, and I am a 'shallow Hal.'" LOL

Ahem! My dear Lonny: the poem, its perfect rhyme, it's infectious meter are fabulous! Hilarity reigns supreme! Now about that itty bitty problem of shallowness.. AHEM! (she retreats to her womans support group, eager to tell them they are STILL correct: men swoon with their EYES.. not with their HEARTS!) <---- had to do it, Lonny.. simply HAD TO! hahahahahahahaha and a big grin! hehe.. You and Ted are a couple of characters, I'd say.. MY kind of characters! Let's see if he takes any credit for this nonsense! He should.. he's inspired many more than even HE realizes, in a good way, of course. You're excused! (smile) katy.
