The congregation collects
waiting     waiting
     for the beginning
          a great come around.
Then when it does,
     all will shout with joy.
The fulfillment of a promise
     made eons ago---
They say it will come,
     but they said that before
          when pangia existed
               on a faulk unidentified.
All over the [ multi plex]
the congregation waits
     turning the other cheek
            resting on worn out knees
the marches and the overcomes
coast to coast, border to...
     patience the virtue
     the virtuous posesses
and they wait and wait
while Big Brother
     counts his money
     and his friends,
an d keep promising.
