Time marches on and dreamers wait sometimes. The lack of success is triles to get one ready for a taste of the bestthere is to offer. Man continues to wait while life provides more obstacles.

 Prestidigitation
Conjured by prestigious concubines
Holding captive the runaway collected
Vigilant in the foggy space way yonder
Drawn by what ifs and supposes---
To be promised by somebody---
Ancient---dressed in golden robes
Cloistered in braindead bodyguards
Protecting the status quo
Created in paper facades designed
To deceive and misdeem---
Desensitized masses of humanity
Gulping down the words and
Actions not recognizing the perfidy
Grown in rendolent progress
Watered with smiles and somedays.

The life of the disdained thickens with the resin
Accumulated in basins all over---
Waiting for the flies and the gnats and the spiders
To sip the dormant elixir
Hiding the death th awaits---
The beast hiding behind Father Son
And Holy Spirit---mega brains hoping that
The wait contaminated the genius
And created enough self hate
To make a colorless diety rise above
The common sense to reign and
Herd the sheep into invisible pens
Of murder, suicide, and mayham
While storehouses fill to the brim
with ill-gotten gains in mind and hands
While the braindead applauds the success and
The good life---created for someone on
the inside and not the outside looking in.

Altered minds believing the hype
Even if it is against the collected
Helps to maintain darkness,
Confusion and misinformed
And satisfied under the protection
of the beast---ruination
Transported to a realm
Of complacency and stimulated joy
Created from not wanting and
Not knowing what to want---
A world uncomplicated
At the samemovie---sameschools
With the Samebooks
Exploiting the talents of the talented 10
Using disuised carrots and
Crumbs of promises stored for
Emergencies just like this---
And it isn't even Halloween.

Still the witches and the gobblins creep---
Creep among the unsuspecting---
Dispensing visitants and robed creepy crawlers
Carrying colorful fly-swatters.
Babies in the melting pot of existance
feeding on the sugar coating garbage
Inseminating it when necessary---
Disguising the peeling plaster and the
Oozing pipes, creating a new
the antidotes provided by the sickness
Instead of the healer---calling all
unsuspecting missionaries
To help clog the break throughs
With new creations---new ideas---
New carrots of gold to dangle
Before them--new hopes and dreams
A different brass ring to reach for
Not knowing it will always be
Just beyond the fingertips---with arms too short
And legs too weak....

Borderline Anti-Memory PastBook by Dr. Patrick ODougherty

The Borderline Anti-Memory PastBook asks questions a diary does not ask and raises the questions to dialectics and answers them in a way a memory work does not answer questions.
