I looked into the face
of the old Indian Chief
and saw wisdom,generosity
and a peace that goes beyond
description
It was a wise,
generous and
magical face
Every line and wrinkle
spoke of kindness and
understanding
yet there was a
childlike
simplicity
about it that
stirred my curiosity.
When I boldly
asked him
the secret
of his long years
he smiled and
pointed
at a crib
where an infant
slept peacefully,
then said in
a soft voice
"Contentment"
I went away
a more
enlightened
man !
