Poem Artwork

Feasting on the bodies from the Nuclear blasts .

Those dreadful rats had quite a repast

Both rich and poor they feverishly ate

Squealing and shrieking as their hunger whet.

The so called “masters of the World” were no more that day

As the nuclear bombs exploded around the world in dismay

A quiet calm filled the planet that  dreadful hour

As the deadly smoke rose to the sky in disarray

The aftermath of that devastation was a sad thing to see ,

As the ruins of great cities tumbled into the great rolling sea.

Now it's only a dry ,empty planet dead and desolated every way

Quietly spinning it's forlorn way into dreadful decay

A once vibrant planet teeming with life in full bloom

With it's advanced technologies, now dead and in gloom.

A few stragglers managed to get away from the catastrophe event

In great ships to the planet Earth,

Saw that the daughters of man were comely and beautiful,

Cohabit with them which gave birth

We on Earth should take heed of that dreadful event,

As MARS to it’s massive destruction went  that horrble date

Or we, with our nuclear weapons and pig headedness

Indeed shall share a similar Fate!

No evidence of this happening on Mars.
Very thought provoking though as this could quite easily happen on Earth.
Well done.

No massive destruction on Mars. No evidence of carbon-based life.

Pegasus: A Journey To New Eden by James Hill

Pegasus is the symbol of wisdom and inspiration. This book, although a dystopia, is meant to inspire people to search for a greater future through wisdom. We have the technology to create a Garden of Eden here on Earth, if only we are wise enough to
