Just thinking

Like a monkey swinging from tree to tree, I wonder what it'd be like to be free. Or like young eagles off in the skies, Calling to each other with joyful cries. Oh, yes, to be free without a tear, Not to live in bondage or constant fear. To live each day and spread my wings, To be forever untouched by Negative Things...

Whatever your bondage remember that one day we will all be free. I don't know what your constant fear is but live every day the best you can. This is a lovely poem.

Ahhh . . . Such is the torment we are committed to by our birth as humans, Lark. There are animals who have the capacity for anguish, elephants being one, and there are others. But humans have far more reasons to live miserably than any animal. We are, I am sure, the only species to chastise ourselves to such extent that we sometimes do. I'm talking personal here.
