An unexpected privilege

There you sit, making me smile Don’t you know you are out of place? Sleeping so peacefully despite my presence, I want to reach out and touch you But you must not be disturbed. I want you to know when you leave at the dusk You made me happy and thrilled me today.

Beautifully penned
There a huge owl that loves perching on top of my mail box so majestic it fills me with pride that he choses my mail box to perch upon while on his nightly hunt ....... love & peace be with you

I remember as a child seeing barn owls in the huge "Roundhouse" at a big factory where they worked on trains. They are so cool and thrilling to see.
