There's more to animals than just fur.

I hear her voice so gently call Her loving tones across the air I cannot help but caterwaul My heart’s response to loving care The sound of her compels my voice To reach out in accompaniment To be with her my favoured choice We’re one another’s complement She cherishes my feline traits And fills my world with harmony I simply cannot contemplate To be without her company She knows my foibles inside out I never need to be concerned We, cat and human, are about A shared respect and love, That’s earned.

IT IS NOT EASY TO FORM THIS TYPE OF BOND...SO MUST TRUST AND LOVE MUST BE THERE. BUT, FOR ME, IT IS UNDERSTANDABLE WITH A SPECIAL KIND OF FELINE. I'M THINKING OF 'CANDI', A WONDERFUL MEMBER OF OUR FAMILY THAT LEFT US AND TOOK HER REST 2 YEARS AGO. SHE WAS 18 YEARS OLD. I WROTE HER A TRIBUTE...IT WAS THE LEAST I COULD DO. MY DAUGHTER HAD HER CREMATED AND HER ASHES ARE KEPT IN AN URN. RECENTLY, A HANDSOME FELLOW CALLED 'TROUBLE' HAS COME ON BOARD...NOT BAD, BUT STILL, NOTHING LIKE THE LADY 'CANDI'. WELL DONE AND THANKS FOR SHARING. LOVE, BLESSINGS AND FAITH...JOYCE * HIS INSPIRATIONS
