with a hint of steam

Poem Artwork

The slightest touch of hand on breast

Brings ardour rising from the deep

Invokes a startled breath enflamed

And lustful stirrings wake from sleep

While warm lips trace a belly’s line

And linger soft, just here and there

Gentle fingers brush the curves

And seek the sweetness hidden where

The body’s heat is rising fast

And reaching tantalising peaks

Hands caress and knead the flesh

As breath, more rapid, softly speaks

Instinctive, bodies move to meet

Reaching for the bliss implied

Lovers, deep in harmony

Explore each other side by side

Mouth on mouth in ardent writhe

With touch and taste, their passions rise

Breast to breast they cannot cease

This urgent quest to synchronise

Limbs wrapped firm, entwined as one

Heart to heart in passion's grasp

They move together, flesh on flesh

Until, with one almighty gasp

In locked embrace, they fill their need

Of glorious ache that’s heaven sent

And take each other feverishly

‘til all the heated love is spent

Then, curled in blissful unison

While sound of heartbeat soothes and calms

With kisses softer, more composed

They’re gently wrapped in lover's arms.

This is a different subject for you...romance. Very well done!
A start to finish of making love...definitely a 10, Ruan!

I'm happy to add to the approvals growing to a crescendo. I wish I could write about this subject half as well. Superb!

No romantic flair for words. No hyperbole. Just the simple sensuous act of love described so tenderly.

Whoa! Katie bar the door, Ruan's loose and taking part in the grandest thing which can happen between the two sexes imaginable . . . Don't believe I've ever read anything quite as sensual coming from you! Funtastic!!

A gentle treatise, of sorts, conveying the art of the touch and its many iterations of meaning to both young and old. Nicely penned.
