Helios rises at dawn to cast light on the reality about us.

Zephyrus rustles at coverings to reveal sad sobriety hidden beneath.

Each morn, human hearts awaken to the call and must decide on a reaction

What response shall each Truth receive – what shall we bequeath?

Is the callousness of Janus’ joyless state to be called to speak…

demanded to atone for its cruel caveats and compensate?

Or do its lofty ideals shield it from such righteousness

...barricade from reason and logic, which truly demonstrate

…that all ten commandments can be applied to all measures of Man.

Called upon as a guiding light …no matter which reverent belief,

...to define that, which is key to our unity…sustainable…

-          whether ruler, middleman, beggarman or thief?

Father Time calls upon Helios to awaken…renew …replenish…restore.

Banish the fabric of shadows, which smother and dampen his light.

Summon and throw down the gauntlet…to challenge…defy…expose…

‘’Cold Hearted Orb, which rules the night – removes the colours from our sight’’

‘’Red is grey and yellow, white – But we decide which is right…and which is an illusion.’’

‘’Brave Helios, wake up your steeds and bring the warmth the countryside needs.’’

What brave words have WE to bolster this mighty empowerment?

To rally our own offerings to such glorious task …free from contemptuous mask…

Seek within –

Restore the natural intuition to know what is inherently right and good.

Think from the sanctity of the heart and act…without distract…to make a pact

…a vow of peace, a sense of joy, sharing in the astounding beauty of Earthly gifts

…for this alone draws no bitter tears nor sheds a drop of innocent blood.

You are far more knowledgeable of Greek mythology than I and even of 60s musicology, but I gathered from the conclusion that the essence of your poem was, "Com'n people now, let's get together, try to love one another, right now!" (The Youngbloods)

In the Whirlwind by Tichaona Chinyelu

In the Whirlwind is a poetic storm that frees history from the cages of corruption and puts it in the hands of everyday people. Words are weaved into a new fashion statement that has nothing to do with runways but everything to do with projects!
