Whilst misty eyes take in the theme
Within a magic mute montage
And dream of all their lives could scheme
In manifesting sweet homage
To inspiration’s wildest dreams
Of paradise in perfect swirl
A landscape deep in nature’s scenes
Her feather flakes, in season’s whirl
Yet here I sit, my thoughts aloft
And wonder what’s beyond my view
What vast arena lays obscured
By vision’s limited accrue
From here, inside my worldly sphere,
My thoughts reach out into the sky
While mind explores the atmosphere
Imagination runs awry
So here we are, both quite spellbound
By what the dreamer’s eye might see
Two different worlds, yet much the same
I could be you…you could be me.
You also impart wisdom. In this poem the last stanza in particular, showing how we dream very much alike whether we know it or not.
