I start out just fine

in love with nature

the cool breeze blowing

past the wildflowers, as I sit at a small table

outside...

in the back of a coffee shop called Balzac's

in Stratford Ontario

old brick wall, hundred years old

and there she sat...

in her black polka dot skirt, blond hair

movie star looks

arguing on her cell phone

silently cursing a name

then she asked me what I was writing

" Poetry" I reply

" Can I see" said she

and before I knew it, she came

so

very

close.....read the poems

asked if I had  a light

I said " I don't smoke"

" Neither do I " she replied

She then gave me her card

kissed the page of the poem she liked

sultry red lips, a body made for sin

like sweet perfume her body drifted away

leaving me alone

staring at a blank page

in the small coffee shop called

Balzac's........

The sweetest poem I've read in a long time. I love real life sensual attraction and this is it! Write more!

BTW, I've experienced something similar, more than once. There's nothing like a hot young woman who knows it to get a man's blood running.
