my soul refuses to sustain any stitches.

Go where the smart money plays they say;

prudence urges me, just simply say nay.

I'd rather rely on the encyclopedia.

Who can tell if it's the truth or not;

equivocation galore, just doesn't mean a lot.

I'm unimpressed with television advertisement;

buy this or buy that, not very cogent.

Never seen it offered, the pearl of great price;

that means salvation, a real paradise.

I'm unimpressed with the talk of politicians;

seems it's lacking, where's the juxtaposition?

Can't balance the budget, can't solve the problem;

After so long, it becomes quite tiresome.

I'm unimpressed with the expectation of riches;

isn't it obvious, nothing but glitches?

Nothing on earth can offer a pure promise;

just have a heart of flesh, that's quite priceless.
