I said this once in jest;
perhaps I should move out west.
So here I come New Jersey, once again;
someone is waiting for me, amen and amen.
Wichita is pretty much okay;
but I really prefer not to stay.
Although her life now, in complete disarray;
she's already shown me true love, hip-hip-hooray!
The water pressure will be low;
I've lived there once before, oh no!
That old mountain house, my brother does own;
her love so much greater, I must not bemoan.
She moves me, she inspires me;
I'd sacrifice anything, don't ya see!
As long as there's a roof over my head;
there she'll be closer, giving me the go-ahead.
Her name alone makes my body tingle;
oh my heart, with all its jingle.
I've now committed to that arduous relocation;
there is absolutely now no equivocation.
I said this recently in jest;
she's wonderful, I'm really impressed.
From Jersey to Wichita, and back once again;
her love persuaded me, and not my acumen.
