I was scared out of my wits;
this is gonna be the pits.
Here comes the rain, hail and wind;
the tornado, location still undetermined.
They usually come from the southwest;
oh my, I understand the unrest.
Kansas is given a tor-con of nine;
no wonder I had chills down my spine.
The sirens sounded for hours;
the twisters tell you of their power.
You soon realize without much ado;
here, all earthly things lose their value.
The world is in a fallen state;
so let us never entertain hate.
Someday these whirlwinds will no more be;
we can still move mountains, don't ya see?
I was scared out of my wits;
my nerves started to flit.
We better make sure our soul is clean;
there is no protection, a worldly windscreen.
