I sit in my yard with a cup of steamed coffee
and watch a mother bird feed her little baby
The fence does not impede my curious eye
nor the strapping beans that are taller then I

We are having a brutal heat wave here in Toronto, Canada. Today, with the humidity is up to over 40 degrees Celcius. Yesterday was 46 degrees Celcius, it's like 114 degrees in Fahrenheit! I'm staying in to keep myself cool.
What a lovely poem about a lovely, relaxed time in your yard where all the poetry in the world comes together for our delight. But you left me curious. Is "steamed coffee" something like "steamed broccoli?" Do you have an illegal coffee still in your home? ;-)
