A poem for Good Friday

Long ago one day in Calvary a loving Jesus bent in sorrow With a head full of thorns and a tear stained face, he walked the wooden cross up a hill with a heart full of pain for his children who stood oblivious to His Holy Name.

I walked this path in Israel. It's hard to imagine what Jesus went through that day. This is a "Good Friday" for us as He made the ultimate sacrifice. "Happy Easter" to you!

Amen. It starts from the place Jesus Christ was tried and convicted; near the Lion's Gate on the Eastern side. And it ends in the crucifixion place, Golgotha, where the Church of the Holy Sepulcher is on the west side of the old city. On YouTube, type in Via Dolorosa Sandi Patty The Finest Moments.
