Ringing in the stars with harmonies of night
no greater sonnet ever was then that of
midnight hues of moody blues and acorn light
oh blessed breath forsake me not thereof
no splendor greater then this evening glow
has ever touched my brow or curved my smile
I long to stitch this memory with songs of flow
then wear it like a crown while I compile
a sonnet of great beauty by a sway
as worthy as the dusk that falls upon
a willow bark of deep cafe au lait
oh blessed breath enfold me til' the dawn
has blushed my reverie and seized my day
enwrapping with gauze and morning ray.
You certainly have used words of magic expressing the joys of night when the moon is light and then polish it off with with a glowing peek of morning light.
Beautiful. You even capture a hint of old world parlance in this. "midnight hues of moody blues" brought back memories of one of my favorite bands when I was young - The Moody Blues. Their groundbreaking album 'Days of Future Passed' still moves me. Well done. r
I have written a chapter called I Am That, I Am in this inspirational compilation book by best-selling authors and wonderful people from all walks of life xox :-D (Its sister book is called Adventures In Manifesting - Success and Spirituality)
When two men hit the reset button and decide to go out looking for the good in the world, they not only find it but also a lot more.
P.S. The title is listed on Amazon under Look for Something Good by Robert Drews (not by Robert H. Drews)

to the start of a new day,
your beautiful sonnet,
chased the blues away.
