A poem about dying

Embraced by the light I walked on beyond the veiling door A chasm of love deeply shone before my eyes adore He raised his arms to me and I felt wholly free Beneath His radiant glee I sat on Mercy's knee until all fear was gone and while they prayed embraced by the light, I walked on.

"God is the light of the heavens and the earth. . . " So says scripture and I believe it. Your poem on light is most illuminating, "Beneath His radiant glee" indeed !

The image says much. Your thoughts reveal a revelation of sorts, orphic in nature, with a mysterious last line that has you separating from the others. Thought-provoking. Peace... r
