A meditative poem that makes us glad to be alive and together
There is a river flowing deep inside of me
there is a river flowing deep inside of you
Take us both through that prosperous journey and be true
for deep within your soul and mine is a river that flows freely;
The cadence of your heart is a jewel to your name
the lanterns of your soul are light you can't defame
there is a river that flows straight to you dear affectionate one
there is a river that flows into the realm of your mind
and oh what a precious find,
when you find that the same river that flows inside of me
also flows inside of you *
Sweetened are the heavens when two hearts collide
sweeter still when they dance beneath the stars
and walk towards the blazing sun.
There is a river, yes there is a river and it belongs
to everyone, even you and I.

MOST ASSUREDLY THERE IS A RIVER IN US, MYSTIC...NO QUESTION ABOUT IT! FOR JOHN 7:37-39 TELL US... "LET ANYONE WHO IS THIRSTY COME TO ME AND DRINK. WHOEVER BELIEVES IN ME, AS SCRIPTURE HAS SAID, RIVERS OF LIVING WATER WILL FLOW FROM WITHIN THEM." POWERFUL SHARING! LOVE, BLESSINGS AND FAITH...HIS+INSPIRATIONS
I prefer to think of that river as communication. There probably will be a day when we won't need cell phones to text to one another. We will be brain connected with something like Wi-Fi that will enable us to commune with others in a river of knowledge that we can control so that it won't be abusive or overwhelming.
I don't believe that hearts "collide." Rather, I think it would be better for them to commune or to hug.

'There is a river' (or a rill, or a rivulet, or a stream, or a trickle) flowing out from each of us, and also flowing into each of us. Where the headwater (or source) of that flow is, is most important. Dark water. Living water. A stimulating piece, Vienna. Thank you for sharing. Peace... rlc
The image of the river is universal and well serves us in giving us a sense of direction amid the forward flow of life. Nicely executed sentiments on the occasion of the upcoming Easter Day. Happy Easter!
