To cast a spell upon thyself
and lend a helping hand to those in need
erasing all narcissistic ways of life
and wiping out all selfish greed
to live within this Universe
as a child of God that does all good
scratching out misconduct's brew
as every human oft should do
to breathe the peace of old Feng Shui
and to exhale right down
building temples of Holy Grace
for the entire human race
I think I'll pass on casting any kind of a spell anywhere. But that philosophy that governs spatial arrangement and orientation in relation to patterns of yin and yang and the flow of energy in our lives, (Feng Shui) is one Michele and I adhere to religiously, especially in our home. You won't find me building temples. Nature builds my places of worship. The places where I was born and nurtured over millions of years and I should respect with all my heart. Where I feel content and at home. While sustained by the complex and fragile civilization so that I have time to contemplate and help others. So many don't in their struggle just to survive.
Seems when we were young, being focused on the self was important. Now in old age, I see that I could have done more in different ways to make life on this Earth better. Thanks for your poem.
When two men hit the reset button and decide to go out looking for the good in the world, they not only find it but also a lot more.
