I want to reach the stars of heaven
wanna touch the moon for you
I long to hear the sound of God
wanna listen to your voice
I want to be just where you are
I need to feel the pulse of Angels
inclined with heart and soul your way
Claiming love and all that is brave
inside my soul it's you I crave
I want to be just where you are
I yearn for one more day with you
one more kiss, one more hug
As the hourglass pours the sand
I hold you in the cup of my hand
Wish I could be, where you are.
DEEP, EMOTIONS HERE...HEARTFELT AND REAL. CERTAINLY A SHARING THAT ONE CAN RELATE TO IN THE LOST OF A CHILD, BUT THEN...IN THE LOST OF ANY OTHER DEAR LOVED ONE TOO. THANK YOU, MY FRIEND. LOVE, BLESSINGS AND FAITH...HIS+INSPIRATIONS
Mystic, you have your ear to the chest in this achingly-gorgeous writing. The line that is beautifully haunting for me is: “inside my soul it’s you I crave” — Wow, is that a colossal seven words that grasp me by the throat. I marvel at your choice of words in ‘To Where You Are’, and it can be so universal in resonating with loss of other relationships to The Great Beyond. I’ve even wordlessly professed to wishing I could be ‘where my parents are,’ given the crush of society’s loss of consciousness. But surely you have chosen the most wrenching loss of all. You have captured love and loss exquisitely. Thank you ~~ djl
Children are precious and no loss can be as great as the loss of a child. You have rendered sweet sympathy here in this tender poem, positive and uplifting.
