if I could make a wish

a kaleidoscope wish
multi-faceted in its possibility
to awake each morning
to your cotton candy breath
to your warm mouth cozy
against the hollow of my neck
feeling your fingers on my chest
listening to your heartbeat
beating out a drumbeat with mine
if this were possible
if this miracle could happen
I would be the luckiest
happiest man in the world
understanding I would be unable
to find that same feeling
from anyone but you

It actually got me reflecting, because I truly love abstract poetry

Wish away, what have you got to lose. Or as the old saying goes, wish in one hand and shit in the other, and see which one fills up first . And I've never thought of morning breath smelling like cotton candy, but I liked the imagery.

Hey, wishes have their place; but good luck with that one.
